Yoga accompanied by live sitar, with mindfulness, mandala making & moving in nature.
with Sally & Gordon Sharp
In this weekend retreat we will explore the relationship between our radiance and our self kindness and self-acceptance.
We are drawing inspiration from the metaphor of Japanese Kintsugi Art which gives new life to damaged or aging ceramic objects. Celebrating their flaws by mending them with gold.
The invitation is to embrace our whole selves through Yoga asana, massage and meditation. Finding value in the missing pieces, cracks and chips, seeing the beauty
of ‘imperfection’, loving ourselves and our loved ones even with flaws.
We’ll engage with the insights from these practices to create mandalas and connect with the natural world. This has the potential to deepen and enhance our relationship with radiance and self acceptance.
Some of the Yoga sessions will be accompanied by
live sitar & other instruments.
There will be time to explore and be inspired by the beautiful Whitfield Valley if you choose to.
The weekend costs £ 120 (early bird £90 by 30th June)
This includes freshly prepared & delicious wholefood vegetarian food.
There are concessions and bursaries available so please talk to us.
Accommodation is not included in this price see www.burnlaw.org. There are a range of affordable options including camping.
