Group work can be a potent way of learning and regulating through social connection. Drawing on the practices of Trauma-informed Mindfulness and Yoga. I facilitate this work in organisations which support people with a range of challenges such as chronic pain, fatigue, anxiety, depression, addiction, eating disorders and other chronic illnesses.
Balancing and building resiliency in the nervous system can allow the body's own healing mechanisms to engage and also help other therapies be more effective, whether they be drugs, talking therapies or other complementary therapies.
