During 2015 Graeme Armstrong and Sally Roach are offering 4 Mindfulness Practice Days with a seasonal flavour to support and deepen our mindfulness practice. If you have completed an 8 week Mindfulness course (from any school), this is a chance to refresh and develop your Mindfulness skills with the support of a group.
A day of mindfulness and movement embodying the energy and treasures of wintertime
Saturday 9th January 2016 10.00am – 4.30pm
Using mindful sitting practice, movement, curiosity, images and inquiry we will be building on our existing mindfulness skills to both deepen our practice and explore how we might attune ourselves to our outer and inner seasons, exploring seasonal changes and our own unique seasoning.
We will be exploring nature in winter via found objects, poetry, inquiry into our “winter warmers”, what helps our “emotional thaw”, how we might settle our mind in a blizzard, bring self acceptance, openness and inner balance to a harsh environment, and how we might recognise when we insulate against nature.
£30 for the day (£25 concessions)
Ten thousand flowers in spring, the moon in autumn, a cool breeze in summer, snow in winter. If your mind isn’t clouded by unnecessary things, this is the best season of your life
